What is this Fanlisting?
When Oceanic flight #815 went down on an island in the Pacific ocean during a flight from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles Jack woke up somewhere in the jungle. After coming to and running to help as many people as he could he finally found a quiet spot to take a minute to breathe. As he was inspecting his wound he got in the crash a woman, Kate, came upon him. Being a doctor he could have stitched the wound up himself but couldn't reach it. Taking a leap of faith and trusting a woman he'd only just met, he asked that she stitch up his wound using a needle and thread. Though reluctant she did comply and as she worked the two bonded and he shared some of his more frightening experiences as a doctor with her. Throughout the first day on the island the two sought each other out in times of need and when they just wanted someone to talk to. Jack soon discovered that Kate had a checkered past and was on the plane as a prisoner being extradited back to the United States. Though he was shaken by the information he couldn't help but trust her in the end. She wanted to tell him what she had done but he did not want to know. He told her that everyone who survived had died three days prior and they all deserved to start over.
In their first forty days on the island Jack and Kate's relationship has continually, in my opinion, gotten more interesting. Despite some road blocks (her past, Sawyer), there is trust and a bond there.(Credit)
