Summary
Sam and Dean attempt to help a college student that they believe is being stalked by the legendary "Hook Man".  However, they realize that the girl they are trying to help may be unconsciously causing the Hook Man to attack her friends and family.

The real Ankeny, Iowa is in Polk County, there is no Calumet County in Iowa.  Also, Ankeny is not a "college town" as there is only one community college there.

Hoppy says, "This isn't one of my favorite episodes, but I have always enjoyed the urban legends about the "Hook Man" so it was cool to see it brought to life here.  It's definitely a little too soon to see Sam interested in another girl after Jess, but at least he seems to recognize that as well.  Also, Dean's grin at the prospect of seeing naked sorority pillow fights?  Priceless."
