Trivia
When he's in the hospital, Dean makes the remark, "You ever actually watch daytime TV? It's terrible."  This line is an inside-joke in reference to the three years that Jensen Ackles spent playing Eric Brady on the daytime soap opera, "Days of Our Lives".

Webmasters' Thoughts

Hoppy says, "I just love this episode to pieces.  First off, you can never go wrong with a guest star like Julie Benz, who is absolutely wonderful as Layla, and the bond she creates in her short time with Dean is remarkable.  I also love the performance that Jensen Ackles gives in this one, especially in the guilt that he feels over having his own life saved at the expense of the lives of others.  This episode really examines the strength of Dean's character, and I love it."

Jen says, "Nothing yet!"
