Trivia
This is the first episode of "Supernatural" in which the villains are completely human and no actual supernatural events occur.

The police database shows that Sam and Dean are both 6'4" tall, when it is clear that Sam is actually several inches taller than Dean.

The reference to Dean's "death" is of course because of the shapeshifter disguised as Dean that was killed in Episode 6, "Skin".

According to the computer readout, Sam was born May 2, 1983, in Lawrence, Kansas. He is 6’4”, 180-190 lbs., brown hair, brown eyes. Dean was born January 24, 1979 and "died" March 7, 2006.

Webmasters' Thoughts

Hoppy says, "Okay, first off, how cool is it that Dean Winchester and I have the exact same birthday?  Just a different year, but still the same day!  Well, at least it impresses ME.  All in all, I really enjoy this episode.  It's doubly creepy that the bad guys are HUMAN, and for the first time the Winchesters have to find a way to deal with something that isn't supernatural-based but a true horror of the world that we live in day to day.  Very very creepy."

Jen says, "Nothing yet!"
