Sam and Dean must track down the history of a painting that is being haunted by a malicious and murderous spirit.

Trivia
The song playing in the bar at the start is "Night Time" by Steve Carlson. Jensen Ackles sings backing vocals on some of Steve's other songs and the two are friends in real life.

In a shot of parked cars near the beginning, the first one's license plates is "THE KRIP" - an in-joke reference to Eric Kripke, the executive producer and creator of the show.

Webmasters' Thoughts

Hoppy says, "That painting is just freaky.  The only problem I have with the plot of this episode is the idea that anyone in their right mind would ever buy such an ugly piece of art.  Eugh.  That aside, this episode is pretty good.  I like Sarah, and the actress who plays her is just freakishly beautiful, and I like that both her and Sam have been hurt in different ways and are hesitant about falling for each other.  I have a feeling Sarah may turn up again someday, we'll just have to wait and see."

Jen says, "Nothing yet!"
